About Me

I strongly believe in the healing power of a safe therapeutic space and human connection to build resilience and foster a more fulfilling life. I bring presence, compassion, humor, and a deep respect for the inner wisdom of each client.

I have over 10 years of experience studying and practicing in the field of mental health. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of San Francisco, my Masters of Social Welfare from UCLA, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked in a variety of healthcare settings, most recently in a newborn and infant critical care unit (NICCU). This provided me a wealth of experience with therapeutic support for new parents, end of life care and experiences of loss and grief, as well as supporting individuals and couples through major life and identity shifts. This was deeply meaningful and formative work and has solidified my dedication to working with individuals and couples navigating the perinatal loss, fertility issues, and the postpartum period.

I come to this work with values rooted in social justice, the importance of human relationships, and the dignity and worth of every person. I believe that our wellness as humans does not solely derive from our personal experiences, but that intergenerational stories, social injustice, societal inequities, and systemic oppression inflict trauma that impact our self-concept, interpersonal relationships, and our life perspective.
